Shakespeare in Wartime
Presented in support of Henry V by
William Shakespeare
Saturday, April 28, 2007
TIME TBA (approx. 4:45pm)
This illuminating and topical forum
will explore how the plays of Shakespeare have been appropriated over
the years by different sides during different wars to make various
political points. The discussion will be guided by two Shakespeare
scholars and feature actors from the Delaware Shakespeare Festival
reading selections from the plays being examined.
All
Connections forums will take place at Delaware Theatre Company, 200
Water
Street in Wilmington.
These
events are presented free of charge.
