(For students currently in grades 2-8)
DTC Drama Club Spring Play:
THE (offbeat) ODYSSEY!
Mondays and Wednesdays,
March 3 - March 31, 2021 ( 9 sessions)
4:00 to 5:00 p.m.* (on Zoom)
*March 29 and March 31, class will meet from 4:00 to 5:30 to accommodate final dress rehearsal and online performance.

DTC Drama Club will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays after school from
4:00 to 5:00 on Zoom as students work together to rehearse and perform the play, The (Offbeat) Odyssey, based on the classic epic written by Homer and dramatized by Johanna Schloss.
Description of The (Offbeat) Odyssey:
Greek captain Odysseus and his fellow shipmates set sail to return home to Ithaca after their victory in the Trojan War. But can they first pass the tests they will face along their way? The Operatic Sirens… the Outraged Oversized Cyclops...the Ominous six-headed monster Scylla and Orbiting, Openmouthed whirlpool Charybdis? Don't miss this Opportunity to be in an Offbeat (and Online) take on a classic tale of adventure!
All students who register for DTC Drama Club will get a part in the play. Students will rehearse and perform online, and round out their DTC Drama Club experience with virtual theatre games/exercises, costume design demonstrations, and opportunities to build an ensemble that has fun while working together to create a show. The play will be performed live on Zoom and also recorded and posted online for families and friends to enjoy.
Important Registration and Refund Information:
To register for a class, visit us online at tickets.delawaretheatre.org, or call the box office at 302-594-1100. Registration must be completed and all fees paid by three business days before the start of class. Thank you!
Course refund fee: In the event DTC cancels a course, registrant will be refunded all fees paid. In the event a registrant cancels, written notice must be provided to DTC at least three business days before the start of class, and a partial refund (payment minus a $50 administrative fee) will be given to the registrant. There are no refunds for a registrant who cancels after three business days before the start of a course. Course fees are not pro-rated; please make every effort to attend class for the full experience. If a course does not meet the minimum registration requirements, it will be cancelled and patrons refunded their fees.
