SUMMER ON STAGE 2026

Dream Big. Create Bigger -
Your adventure awaits!

Two fun & creative sessions led by professional theatre artists.
For Rising 3rd Graders- 16 years old ​

Summer on Stage is a full-day theatre program for ages 8–16 where campers train in acting, voice, movement, improv, storytelling, and audition skills with professional teaching artists. In the morning are age-appropriate core classes, in the afternoon creation and rehearsals for a collaborative mixed-age performance.

Camps take place at Delaware Theatre Company (200 Water St, Wilmington, DE 19801).

9am-4pm, 8:45am drop off

“Shareformance”: July 16 at 7:00 PM

Tuition: $1,185 ($395/week)

Extended Care available from 4pm–5pm ($75 per week)

JULY 20–AUGUST 7

9am-4pm, 8:45am drop off

What We Do
Morning (Age-Specific):

Core theatre training—acting, speech, movement, improv, and stagecraft—tailored to each age group.


Afternoon (Mixed Ages):

Collaborative performance tracks that develop teamwork, empathy, & confidence
Three Performance tracks to choose from:

Devising: Make original theatre from classic stories
Musical Ensemble: Sing, move, perform—together
Scene Work: (teens only) Take on iconic scenes from classic plays

As Delaware’s only member of the League of Regional Theatres (LORT) for 46 years, Delaware Theatre Company (DTC) strives to share our passion for theatre with the next generation of artists. We are thrilled to provide a unique opportunity for your child to bring stories to life, make new friends, and discover the magic of theatre. DEPOSIT and REFUND POLICY

 

A $100 nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of registration. This fee is applied to the
total cost of the session. Full payment must be received by June 8. Online purchases must be
paid in full. All credit card transactions will include a $5 processing fee per registration. If After
Care is needed, separate registration must be made through the box office. To sign up and pay
only the deposit at this time or to register for Extended Care, call the DTC box office at 302-594-1100, weekdays between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
