Hailed as a grownup prequel to Peter Pan, this Tony Award®–winning, swashbuckling production explores the Neverland you never knew. Peter and the Starcatcher upends the century-old legend of Peter Pan with a wildly theatrical reboot of how a nameless orphan came to be The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up. A dozen brilliant actors play more than 100 unforgettable characters, employing ingenious stagecraft and the limitless possibilities of imagination.

“SENSATIONAL! Showbiz at its

most brazenly infectious.”

The December 23 matinee showing of Peter and the Starcatcher, at 2 p.m., will be an Open, Inclusive Performance.

At DTC, we strive to offer different programming throughout the year, welcoming people with a range of abilities and disabilities to enjoy our shows together in a “shush-free” zone. The December 23 matinee showing of Peter and the Starcatcher, at 2 p.m., will be an Open, Inclusive Performance. The show will be performed as directed; however, the norms of audience etiquette are “relaxed” so that patrons will have the freedom to appreciate the show in a manner authentic to their experience. This means they can vocalize their responses to the action on stage, leave and return to their seats as needed during the performance, and use personal electronic or sensory devices in the theatre. If you’re attending this performance, please be ready to join in as a welcoming, supportive member of this inclusive audience experience—one that opens the world of theatre to many who, without this type of environment, might not feel comfortable attending.
