Theatre Classes for Adults (ages 18 and up)  
Beginning Acting I for Adults
(ages 18 and up)

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be onstage? Ensemble-based theatre exercises are designed to help students develop physical and vocal expression and lay the groundwork for further acting study. Great for anyone with an interest in the theatre, a desire to improve communication skills, or those seeking personal growth!

Beginning Acting II for Adults
(ages 18 and up)

This course provides the beginning adult actor a chance to apply basic acting skills to scripted material. Additional exercises in physical and vocal expression are used to help the student actor develop flexibility in body and voice for use in scripted monologues or scenes.

Scene Study for Adults
(ages 18 and up)

Students explore acting skills through scripted scenes and/or monologues in this course. Learn to transform your performance with simple techniques for building and conveying your character! Both the experienced actor and the beginning actor are welcome to this fun and friendly class environment. Class size is limited to allow for individualized feedback.

Theatre Classes for Young People and Families
Acting Up!
(ages 8 to 12)

Young actors are introduced to the creative process through theatre games and exercises exploring voice, body, and imagination. At the end of the workshop, kids get a genuine theatrical experience as they showcase their work for family and friends!

Acting for Teens
(ages 13 to 18)

Calling all teens! This exciting workshop is for student actors who want to acquire new skills in portraying realistic characters and staging scenes. Students will gain real-world stage experience through monologue and/or scene work in a creative and teen-friendly environment. Students will present a showcase of their works-in-progress the final day of class.

Saturdays, 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Comedy Improv
(ages 12 to 17)

This games-based improvisation class is designed to help teen actors sharpen their comedic skills through creating colorful characters and zany situations. In the process, students will learn important improvisational acting skills such as teamwork, listening, and scene-building. Get ready for fun!
