Can you hear those sleigh bells jingling? That means it’s time for a fun, festive, free evening outdoors at
Delaware Theatre Company! You won’t want to miss our holiday light show, synchronized to music, on the front steps of the theatre. We’ll also have a live band, so you can enjoy all of your favorite holiday hits.
And make sure you’re on the nice list —
Santa himself will be making a special visit!

We’re bursting with holiday spirit and we want to share it with you.

There will be three performances every night—and they’re all free!

So put on your warm woolen mittens, grab your friends and family,

and get your holidays started the Merry & Bright way at DTC!

Make your reservations today—these performances will fill up fast!

How do I attend Merry & Bright?

To provide the utmost safety for our patrons, we are limiting the total attendance for each 30-minute free performance to 50 people and monitoring the count (one reservation per family up to five people).

Reservations are required through Brown Paper Tickets by clicking here. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you arrive, please park in our free overflow parking lot next door, since the performances will be in the parking spaces in front of our theatre. The overflow lot entrance is located on the corner of Water & Tatnall streets.

Lastly, we will not be offering concessions and restroom access will be limited.

What safety precautions are we taking?

  • Please be aware that this is a 30-minute outdoor performance with no seating.

  • In accordance with the latest recommendations from local and state governments regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), we’re requiring you to maintain safe social distancing of at least six feet while standing in our parking lot.

  • We are also requiring you to wear a mask if you are unable to maintain adequate social distance from those not in your group. We will provide masks if you forget yours or you need one.

  • We will provide hand sanitizer stations.

What happens if there's inclement weather?

Not to worry! We’ll have our eye on the weather. If there’s bad weather in the forecast, we’ll be sure to send an emailed update by 2:00 p.m. on the day of the performance.

Remember, if you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to call the Box Office at (302) 594-1100.
