THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK

HAILED as "a new adaptation for a new generation," this classic, true story comes to life in a major theatrical event. When the Frank family goes into hiding to escape the Nazi persecution of Jews in 1940s Amsterdam, young Anne records the laughter, grief, hope and fears of their two-year confinement in her diary. Through the voice of one of the most beloved heroines of the 20th century, audiences experience the dreams and idealism of one amazing girl as she faces the most horrific evil of our times. The Diary of Anne Frank won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the Tony Award® for Best Play and the Critics Circle Award.

Anne Frank RememberedTuesday, October 2 @ 7pm

Anne Frank Remembered
Academy Award Winner, Best Documentary

Combining personal testimony, never-before-seen photos, previously undiscovered family letters and rare archive footage (including the only known moving footage of Anne herself) with evocative contemporary film, Anne Frank Remembered documents the history of the Frank family focusing on the spiritual girl whose Diary of her two years in hiding in her father's office building during World War II in Amsterdam, has sold over 25 million copies in 54 languages since it was first published in 1947. Featuring interviews with Otto Frank, Anne's father, Miep Gies, Otto's employee who helped hide the Franks, Peter Pfeffer, who hid with the Franks, and Hanneli Goslar, who befriended Anne and her sister at camp and depicts the Frank girls' last days. Kenneth Branagh narrates and Glenn Close reads Anne's diary excerpts.

"For the first time we have a film that tells us what Anne Frank was really like. As a unique and moving record of her life, it will surely stand beside her diary forever." - Buddy Elias, ANNE FRANK'S COUSIN

Hitler in ColorTuesday, October 16 @ 7PM

Hitler in Colour

Hitler in Colour is a telling story of the rise and fall of a man who devastated the lives of countless numbers of people around the world. For 12 years, Hitler's overpowering personality dominated the German nation. He led his people from economic ruin in European conquest and to the brink of creating a New World Order. In his wake, he brought a reign of terror that caused death to millions. Drawing from recently discovered German film collections that comprise hours of previously unseen color footage, and woven with eye-witness testimony, Hitler in Colour tells the astonishing and disturbing story as never before. Narrated by Emmy Award winning British actor Brian Cox.
