ALL MY SONS

by Arthur Miller | directed by David Stradley

October 19 - November 6 2011

Joe Keller wants the American Dream. His son wants to marry the girl next door. His wife wants their eldest son–missing-in-action–to come home. An explosive secret from Joe's past, however, threatens to tear this "All-American" family apart. Set in the wake of World War II, this electrifying drama won Arthur Miller the 1947 Tony Award for Best Play and established his place as one of America's greatest playwrights.

"A commanding illustration of the power of theatre and a searing drama of morality and conscience that has as much to say to America now as it did in 1947." – Variety

CROWNS

by Regina Taylor | adapted from the book by Michael Cunningham & Craig Marberry

April 11 - 29, 2012

A young woman who moves down South to live with her aunt is given a lesson in "hat-titude" in this toe-tapping musical. From feathered hats to flowered hats, pillboxes to turbans, to hats for work and hats for church, there is a hat for every occassion, and a cultural and historical significance to them as well as "Mother Shaw" and her "hat queens" share in their stories. This soul-stirring musical demonstrates the handing down of culture from one generation to the next and celebrates the refuge, equality and healing that occurs in this place of spirituality.

"Warm, vibrant and winning" – The New York Times
