This theatrical journey follows Phileas Fogg and his servant, Passepartout, as they set out to beat the clock in a race around the world. Five actors portray 39 characters from this classic novel, in an adaptation that's been called "ingenious and imaginative" and "a ton of fun for all ages."

Take a culinary trip across the globe with the Hotel du Pont's Around the World in 80 Days-inspired Afternoon Tea. Enjoy this unique three-course tea experience featuring sandwiches and pastries with international flair.

8th Annual Toy Drive to Benefit Children & Families First

December 1-19, 2010

From December 1-19, DTC will accept donations of new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls ages infant to 14 years old. The toys collected will be turned over to Children & Families First and then distributed to the families they assist.  Many of the children they help are in foster care, take part in a counseling or family education program, or come from low-income families.  Since 2003, DTC has received donations of over 1500 toys.

Donations may be dropped off at the theatre, located at 200 Water Street on Wilmington’s Riverfront, from December 1-19, from 9AM to 5PM Monday-Tuesday and until 8 PM on most performance days.

Young Professionals Night

Cost: $30 Advance, $35 Door

Before the 8pm performance of Around the World in 80 Days, mix and mingle with local young professionals (ages 21 to 35) at this fun and casual cocktail hour. Ticket price include drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and a ticket to the performance.
